editedMaria Tripodis, MS, RD, LD/N is a registered dietitian, writer, and founder of Rebel Nutrition. Maria specializes in clinical dietetics, culinary nutrition, and recipe development, helping her patients, clients, and readers meet their nutritional needs using whole foods as the foundation. Through her blog, articles, and presentations, Maria hopes to promote healthy habits, balanced diets, self-love, and the opportunity to feel empowered to accomplish anything by combining evidence-based nutrition teaching and mindfulness practices. 

Maria is a regular contributor and advisory board member of Cancer Wellness Magazine, where she composes recipes and articles specific to targeting cancer cell growth. Maria has also contributed to articles appearing in many media outlets, including the Columbia Daily Herald and the Providence Journal, educating the population on the importance of balanced diets and mindful eating. Through her public speaking engagements throughout Miami, FL, Maria strives to help others look past their internal barriers and make changes towards becoming the best version of themselves.
